This course provides a comprehensive analysis of individual and group behaviour in organizations. Its purpose is to provide an understanding of how organizations can be managed more effectively and at the same time enhance the quality of employees work life. Topics include motivation, rewarding behaviour, stress, individual and group behaviour, conflict, power and politics, leadership, job design, organizational structure, decision making, communication and organizational change and development.

Upon completion of this subject, students should be able to :
- Develop a good understanding of the subject matter, theoretical and practical issues related to the nature and functioning of organisations and behaviour of people within them.
- Acquire relevant knowledge of factors that affects the dynamics of how organizations function and how to apply appropriate techniques to solve specific real life management issues.
Demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the subject matter though group discussions and written assignments, make clear conclusion and deliver appropriate decisions for a decision situation.
